The camera shows the glass perspective again, when the machine suddenly starting up, revealing the glass is actually the machine's visual sensory input and displaying a rebooting monitor. It flies up and then to the side of the machine, and continues pecking. The camera changes to show the perspective from within the glass as Ganymede tapping on it. Curiously approaching the rock, which is now revealed to be some sort of a machine, Ganymede pecks away the moss covering the glass part. Ganymede jumps to the front of the big rectangular rock from which it picked up the tendril. Putting the tendril into its place, Ganymede chirps satisfyingly and starts looking around. Ganymede turns away to break off a curled tip of a tendril behind. After landing near its nest there, Ganymede puts a twig in its beak to decorate its nest. Ganymede flies from off-screen toward the boulders in the middle of the clearing and lands on one of the strangely cuboid-shaped rocks. Clarification: When you will read, in these rules, that a game element (Bastion tile, Hero board, etc). They can be put on these Horde cards, on Bastion tiles, or on Hero boards. They are brought into play by some Horde cards. These figures represent the evil influence of the Baleful Queen. Eliminating all of the Warlords from the deck gives the heroes victory. These cards are distinguished from the Monster cards by their backs and by the Warlord symbol 1. Warlords are the leaders of the armies of the Baleful Queen. These effects can be of multiple types: entrance effects (located on the left), exit effects (located on the right), recurring or continuous effects (located in the center). Monster cards are characterized by a Name 1, a Color 2 a Resistance 3 and Effects 4. The Horde is made up of 2 types of cards: Monster cards and Warlord cards. Some Horde cards (as well as the yellow Horde board) occasionally force the players to roll the Corruption die and suffer its effects. The fourth die, gray in color, is linked to the power of one of the heroes (Kazgin). The three white dice are used by the heroes to fight the Monsters, but also for the actions of some of the Bastion tiles. The Life tokens are used to measure the heroes' vital energy. The Call to Arms tokens allow heroes to benefit from extra actions. The Equipment tokens exist in 5 colors and help the heroes fight the Monsters.
